We just posted a request over at Media Mobz for a promo video for the Internet Archive and Creative Commons. Are you a video producer with a passion for the Archive and CC? We are cleaning up the Ourmedia database and have found that several members have multiple accounts with the same email address. This only effects a small percentage of member profiles, but each is important and even a small percentage is a lot!

The old sign-in system allowed people to create more than one account per email address and we have been fixing those bugs. Soon we will merge those accounts that share email addresses. This means we will move all your media to the oldest account with a given email address (i.e., the one with the lowest user id number).

This will cause your password to reset back to the one associated with your earliest account. If you do not remember your old password, just request a new one from the sign-in form.

Note also that this will reset your username and picture to the one you chose first. Once this is done, you can change it again if you wish. If you forgot your original account name, just sign-in with your email.
